Waking up on the shore, the ebb and flow of some other world passes beneath and around the wraith. An ephemeral sense of dread and darkness raises him from the dirty flotsam. Stumbling on foot and in thought he falls heavy on the untouched sand, spilling it amongst the dunes and dead shrub. Eyes narrowing aloft to the grey din of a storm passing away, he remembers the deep dreamless sleep and nothing more.
